🎙️ Soul Stories: Concept Songs 

The songs I create live in the space between idea and final form.

They start with lyrics … always 

Deep, emotional, story-first lyrics (this is the soul to me)

For years, I wrote music with my longtime cowriter and friend, Kenny Star.

We created over 100 songs together - he brought the melody, I brought the story.

It was one of those rare creative partnerships where it just worked.

But life shifts. Seasons change.

And we haven’t written together in years.

Still, the songs kept coming. They take up space in my head until I have to write them down.

And I needed a way to express what I had to say - not just through words, but through sound… even though I don't compose music.

That’s when I started creating what I now call Concept Songs.

It’s my way of saying:  “This is what these lyrics feel like to me.”

Not the final version. Not fully produced.

But emotionally true - a sketch of the song’s soul.

A way for someone to hear the heartbeat of the story, not just read the words on a page.

I use AI tools to shape that vision - not to finish the song, but to bring it into form enough that a future collaborator can step in and say:

“I see it. I hear it. Let’s build it together.”

These songs live in that space between what’s written and what’s waiting.

They’re unfinished on purpose… because the next chapter belongs to the next creator - my next collaboration.
